WIMA | Models is also a big supporter of social commitments whether great or small. Social responsibility is important to us. We are a young model agency and want to make a long lasting commitment to social coexistence. Below you will find an excerpt of the social projects we passionately support and that are very close to our hearts.
Children need to be able to rely on adults - no ifs and buts. But not every child is lucky enough to experience this. SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. therefore supports disadvantaged children, adolescents and their families. The employees of WIMA I Models regularly collect old and sorted out toys, clothes, school supplies, etc. and pack a parcel for the “SOS Kinderdorf” in Zwickau, Germany.
More than a moment of happiness. Every year WIMA I Models and their employees fill two shoeboxes full of small gifts for a little box and girl. "Christmas in a shoebox" is the most popular gift campaign worldwide. This way children in need experience Christmas joy.
The Frauenhilfe Chemnitz e.V. is sponsor and co-organizer of this run. Show your solidarity and run or walk together with us supporting the motto "Women run for women to combat violence against women and children”. One lap (1.0 km) and donate. EVERY EURO COUNTS! The profits will go to the two projects Frauenhilfe Chemnitz e.V. (Chemnitz Women's Shelter and the Intervention and Coordination Center to Combat Domestic Violence), which provide counselling and support to those affected by domestic violence.
On September 16, 2023 is World Cleanup Day, the largest bottom-up citizen movement in the world to eliminate pollution and plastic waste.
World Clean Up day unites millions of volunteers, governments and organizations in 191 countries to tackle the global waste problem and build a sustainable world.
WIMA I Models participated in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 and helped clean up the local forests of Augustusburg, Germany.
In 2019, 21 million people worldwide in 180 countries participated in World Cleanup Day and set a strong sign for a cleaner, healthier and plastic waste-free environment through their campaign.
“Aktion Deutschland Hilft” is the alliance of 23 renowned German aid organizations founded in 2001. Their goal is to s help people who have lost everything due to major disasters.
WIMA I Models has made a donation to “Aktion Deutschland Hilft” in support of the earthquake victims.
